Pastor - Derrick Moose
Bro. Derrick Moose The Moose Family
Bro Derrick was born and raised in Statesville, N.C. He graduated from Alexander Central High School in 1984. At the age of 20, he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. In 1990, the Lord called him into the ministry. He moved to Boone N.C. where he was given the opportunity to preach revivals and fill in for many pastors in the area. In Boone, he joined the Clarks Creek Baptist Church where he was licensed to preach. During this time, he was mentored and discipled by other veteran ministers.
Bro. Derrick is currently serving as pastor of Cash Point Baptist Church in Ardmore TN. Bro. Derrick was called as Senior Pastor of Cash Point Baptist Church in October 2004. Bro. Derrick married his wife Elizabeth, in 1996. After seeking God's will for their life as a couple, they felt God calling them to Alabama Baptist Children's Home in Decatur Alabama. There they served as House Parents, for over six (6) years. They were blessed with 3 children while working at the Home: Nathan, Nicholas and Ashlynn. During this time, Bro. Derrick continued to exercise his gift of preaching through various churches in Alabama, and by participating in revivals. He also filled in at churches without a pastor.
Bro. Derrick feels privileged to be a part of what God is doing at Cash Point. What a wonderful thing it is to love and be loved by God and his people!
Music Director – Bobby W. Barnett
Bro. Bobby Barnett
Bro. Bobby spent the first 20 years of his life in Cash Point Baptist church. As a teenager, he swept out the church and built fires for winter services. After High School he moved away but returned as Music Director in 1975 and served for 13 years before moving to another church. Bro Bobby returned as Music Director on Easter Sunday 2005. Bro. Bobby has served God as a Church Music Director for 40 years in various churches. Bro. Bobby has been singing with the "Cash Point Singers" for the last 30 years. He has served on mission trips in construction and evangelism in Alaska, Missouri, Wisconsin, Georgia and South Carolina and in foreign countries like Honduras, Venezuela and American Samoa.

Sunday School Director – Peggy Holt
Sister Peggy Holt
Sister Peggy has served as Sunday School Director since May of 2004. She is also the Church pianist.
She has attended Cash Point Baptist Church all of her life and was saved and baptized in 1951.
She started playing the piano and organ as a teenager and has enjoyed being a part of the music program..
Discipleship Training Director – Kenneth Mitchell
Bro. Kenneth Mitchell
Bro. Kenneth serves as the Discipleship Training Director, Adult Young Men's Sunday School Teacher for the church. He was saved in 1953, 11 years old at New Grove (Nebo) Baptist Church. His wife, Leoma and their three children were also saved at New Grove.
Bro. Kenneth has served on several mission trips, both here in this country and in other countries. He is a part of the Tennessee Baptist Disaster Group and has served during several disasters. God has richly blessed him on on these trips.
God is amazing with his abundant grace when you freely do his work.
Church Treasurer - Vera Osbornne
Sister Vera Osbornne
Sister Vera serves as the Church Treasurer. She develops the church budget to present to the church. She maintains the finances of the church, deposits receipts and pays the bills. Provides reports of all expenses and receipts for the quarterly church business meeting. She pays the salaries of all employees of the church, maintaining records of withholdings such as Social Security and income taxes for IRS.
